Russell Leadbeater
Russell has been a Personal Trainer for over 6 years. For over 4 years now, he’s been running his own business, imaginately titled ‘RL Fitness’. Like many people, Russell started lifting weights to become bigger and stronger. But he found that following what he read in the body building magazines took so long, that there had to be a better way. So he started researching exercise. On the internet, from trainers, from books, and he then took the step of enrolling in an exercise science degree.
Over the years he learnt different way to increase muscle size, about the relationship between speed, power and strength and how to train specifically for each as an outcome. He also studied diet and nutrition to learn how to manipulate food intake for weight loss or weight gain. Russell contends that diet accounts for around 80% of your results. He now spends his time teaching others so they don’t have to spend years getting sub par results as he did. Effective training is not difficult, but it can be tricky and quite complex. It definitely pays to know what you’re doing. To check out more info, check out Russell’s websites at www.RLFitness.com.au and http://brisbanepersonaltraining.blogspot.com/.
