CrossFit Victoria is one of the original Australian CrossFit affiliates. They offer group and private fitness training in their converted warehouse in Fitzroy, Victoria. The coaches and athletes are very friendly and they welcome travellers throughout the week. Be prepared for a challenge, their workouts are tough (but they can be scaled to your ability and fitness level).
The Gymboss is a small, lightweight interval timer that can be used to add a new element to your workouts. It is a simple to use tool that will beep and vibrate to tell you when to start and stop efforts, when to change from high intensity to low intensity or when to change exercises. A great addition to any Portable Athletes toolkit.
In January and February of 2010, Adrian McGough, a member at CrossFit Victoria, headed over to Thailand for some well deserved R&R.
